Hello everyone,
I would like to do a quick poll to find out how many of us are living in Europe and discuss what treatments we have available on this side of the pond.
Since the European medicine organizations have somewhat different medicine approvals than the FDA in the States, it would be interested to get a base line. Also it would be interesting to find out what treatment options we are being offered in Europe. I know myself, in Germany alone, I have interacted with a dozen various doctors for my PCa and receive half as many different opinions.
Additionally, the AnCan foundation is running regular live webinars where the have several doctors joining in. Since some of their webinars are held in the evening time (US Time zones) it may be difficult for some of us in Europe to attend.
I have spoken with the founder of the AnCan about holding some webinars earlier for the European audience and we would like to do a row call to see how many people would be interested in attending such webinars.
So, a simple response with the country in Europe where you are joining from and if you are interested in attending the AnCan webinar would suffice for now.

I got diagnosed in August with T3b. Since them I have been on ADT, in SLK.Gesundbrunnen in Heilbronn. I am in discussion with Martini Klinik in Hamburg to schedule my RARP. Most likely I will get the surgery in March-April.
@dinu Wishing you the best! My husband got his surgery done with the professor doctor at Sindelfingen Hospital in 2021. We're currently getting second opinions on surgery and radiation for the recurrence.

I am being treated by Pr. Dr. Hatiboglu, Urology Klinik Director, at SLK Gesundbrunnen. But i asked around for a lot f second opinions (Heidelberg Uni Klinik, Mannheim, Köln, etc.) on both urology and oncology side. But surgery wise i wil go to Martini Klinik in Hamburg.

As i mentioned in my previous post, Dr. Prof. Hatiboglu, at the SLK Gesundbrunnen in Heilbronn. He is an urologist. But his surgery option in my case was from the beginning without nerve-sparing. This is why I am going to Martini Klinik. They discussed with me the options for nerve-sparing and explained to me their "in-situ" biopsy option which allows to section the removed prostate during the surgery and decide live if they need to remove additional tissue/nerves.
I think the tram at Heidelberg UniKlink is also really good.
