I started the process with my pain management doc yesterday. Hoping it provides relief for my chronic spine/leg pain & nerve issue.
@klingebretsen may you share the protocol?
Yes, I had it implanted for the week trial period, It did not help me, I was told 30% of individuals it was not helpful, so they took it out, the lower back pain remains. I have not been successful in The past 3+ years to alleviate the pain.

@cynbell have you had the implant?
@laurenseavertson789 I have a consultation on Feb 19 to discuss possible SCS implant
I also had the steroid injections for a period of nine months, there was only a temporary pain relief lasting any where from a week to a few days. The pain returned as before.
@blowerk1216
No, not yet. I'm in Alaska, so I have to travel to Anchorage to go see the Dr there about it. I live on the Kenai Peninsula and we have no Dr's here that perform the trial or the permanent one if that works, and it takes forever to get an appt. Thank you for asking.
@blowerk1216 getting the trial on 2/25 I am kind of nervous, after reading so many failures, problems etc. As it is, i have no life. Severe pain, keeps me from 9 0percent or more, of all activities. I am horribly depressed & anxious Any advice?
@heisenberg34 I'm curious. I have a SCSI now since 2009. How was the removal surgery? Intense, badly painful, long time? They tell me I shouldn't have mine removed but it's not helping and hasn't for a long time. Thanks
