@heisenberg34 I'm curious. I have a SCSI now since 2009. How was the removal surgery? Intense, badly painful, long time? They tell me I shouldn't have mine removed but it's not helping and hasn't for a long time. Thanks

@sal2 My removal surgery went smooth as silk. No problems. Minimal pain. Recovery was not bad at all. I’m guessing that yours isn’t helping much these days. Hope it goes well.

I’m replying to Lauren, sorry I can’t find her post. If the 10 mg of oxy isn’t working maybe you should stop taking it or titrate downward (you wouldn’t want to stop because of withdrawal symptoms !).

When I was taking 30-35 mg of oxy a day I had terrible digestive issues. It wasn’t working anyway because I developed tolerance.

@jackiet Did you get constipation from the OXY? Right now, that's all i am getting until Pump trial . I am in severe pain & the oxy, is not enough. I need Dilaudid

@laurenseavertson789 It was not constipation. I was able to eliminate frequently enough. However, every morning I had stomach cramps. And often lack of appetite, sometimes nausea.

It was worse when I was on the extended release OxyContin. I found out from this forum that OxyContin ( not oxycodone) has lactose. I’m lactose intolerant. When I stopped the OxyContin digestive issues not as bad.
