How do you deal with dry eyes?

I have dry eyes due to sjogren's syndrome. Does anyone else deal with dry eyes?

Try heat pads over the entire eye socket and gently massage the nasal join between the eyes to assist in loosening & circulating the natural lubricant.
I also use Cationorm eye drops one drop each morning , noon & evening.

My Restasis prescription was $147 with insurance until I asked for a generic. Now it's $57. It's for 1 month but I use it longer.

The heat pads really help NATURALLY too. Doctor said 2x day. And they are calming. I say my prayers then.

I have plugs in my tear ducts and it has really helped me. I thought it was a strange idea when the doctor suggested them but he was right about it helping.

I have had Sjogrens for 8 years and dry eyes have gotten very bad with cornea pitting. Gritty and burn and blurry vision.
I soak eyes, use Refresh Mega 3 drops, Celluvisc , and Serum drops . At night i use systane ointment and gel drops,
I tried Xiidra and Restasis, unsuccessfully. Also plugs and Prokera patch.

I have the same. Takes daily maintenance. For dry mouth: brush 2X daily for gums and teeth; waterpik once a day; xylimelts or biotene.
Dry eyes: gently scrub eye lids in the morning; systane liquid tears; PM ointment at night; RX for pataday. I am finding that an eye mask at night helps keep moisture in.

@marye2 Thank you! Good advice! I do pretty much the same, but I must me careful with anything with xylitol as it upset by digestive system! I found out the hard way. But, I’m also lactose intolerant. So it took a bit of research to figure out the xylitol issues. Warm wet washcloths or packs do help a lot. I suppose because it adds moisture.

Sustained drops work wonders. Ask a eye doctor for help. There are prescription eye drops that also work.
