Does anyone have hyponatremia?

Posted by maggie76 @maggie76, Nov 15, 2025

I was diagnosed with very low electrolytes and was in hospital for three days getting sodium in a IV. It worked and I came home within a few months my sodium was low at 125.

@maggie76 Hi Maggie. When I began with UREA I used the powder and I hated the taste even mixing it with various juices. I read that the company that makes it has pills and "they're smaller." I ordered them and was surprised how big they were. I'm afraid to try to swallow them. Didn't want them to get stuck in my throat. Soooo... I had to buy a pill grinder to turn them into powder. If you choose to do that, get a good quality one. I purchased mine from Amazon. About the BP. Mine runs low but that is because of my heart condition. I live near Montgomery, Alabama. Blessings to you.

@fdixon63 Blessings to you too. Per my Nephrologist m BP is finally in control and my sodium level is slightly elevated. I was feeling nausea for a few days and notified him of that. He gave me a script for a med and said it continues make an appt to see you're PCP. I feel like he blew me off and thank God I feel fine today. Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

@fdixon63 I find the Urea tabs very hard to take
They make me dizzy. Tired and nauseous. Do you know of anything else I could take that would bring up my sodium level,?
