Coronary artery stents

I am the owner of three brand new drug eluting stents and am having discomfort some folks are describing as "stent pain" or "stent stretch". It was constant for the first two or three days after my cardiac cath and now occurs when I begin exercising. It is NOT angina per cardiac rehab. Any other stent owners experiencing this, any ideas about when it will go away?

Thanks so much for your reply. I am very hopeful for the drugs coming our way…for my children and grandchildren. Although my cardiologist thinks they are still years away from approval. You mentioned your weight…have you considered being on a GLP1 medication? I started one almost two years ago and it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. It is also showing so much promise for heart health. After my heart attack it is one of the medications and supplements that I was taking that my cardiologist was very much in favor of. Just a thought. Although it won’t help with LPa..we are screwed on that…lol!
