@westwoman3698 My eyes have definitely worsened in the last year, I am now wearing varifocals full time.
The gel makes my eyes blurry for 5 minutes or so.
That sounds really uncomfortable. It’s pretty common for eye gels to cause temporary blurriness right after applying them, especially if they’re thicker.
@jackielb atm I'm using Ocufresh prescribed by Dr. Last tube was Viscotears prescribed by Optometrist. Any eye gel that contains Carbomer 0.2%.
I also buy online from Medino as I can't get a prescription when going abroad. It's the cheapest way.
No, you don't need a prescription.
I am prescribed xiidra for Sojourns. It is prescription but I signed up for a discount card through the manufacture. Three boxes cost me less than 20 dollars use twice a day. During the afternoon sometimes use refresh eye drops that are all natural.

@jackielb an ophthalmologist told me to rub baby shampoo along bottom eyelid. Then rinse off well with water. I still do this occasionally( if I can see oil buildup along lower lashes.)
And I would recommend preservative free drops (with Hyaluronate. )
