@drummergirl
How do you find out that ADH disappeared, did you go biopsy or MRI or Mamo.?
that ADH disappeared.
Thank you
@aeso2351
It was my grown daughter. She was advised that they would just monitor every 6 months. On one of the next checkups with mamogram, it had disappeared. Of course it is continuing to be monitored.
It must have been very minor for them to allow it to be simply monitored.
@fronterae
I hope you are recovering well. You might need a physical therapist who specializes in lymphedema to help deal with both cording and lymphedema. I had bilateral mastectomy in January and still do self massage/stretching everyday to prevent lymphedema. I was đx with ADH and IDC, so I’m now vigilantly watching for any signs of cancer recurrence. Then there’s metastasis that usually goes undetected until it’s too late! You did the right thing. Wishing you a full recovery.

1 ReactionI can imagine this is stressful.
I had Surgical removal of the Ductal Atypical Hyperplasia and surrounding borders as advised by my MD s based at a major academic medical center. I was advised that ADH Raises ones risk of developing breast cancer.
Hoping this is helpful.
Best,
Susan
