I hope you are recovering well. You might need a physical therapist who specializes in lymphedema to help deal with both cording and lymphedema. I had bilateral mastectomy in January and still do self massage/stretching everyday to prevent lymphedema. I was đx with ADH and IDC, so I’m now vigilantly watching for any signs of cancer recurrence. Then there’s metastasis that usually goes undetected until it’s too late! You did the right thing.
