If you have a home BP testing device, I’d suggest you check it as soon as you get off the toilet. If your blood pressure is a lot higher than your normal readings I’d recommend that you speak with your doctor about it.

One of the first things I was told was never to strain when you poop. Take a stool softener if required. It’s that bearing down action that is dangerous. It’s why I had a c section when I had my son after having a triple AAA dissection(s)- so I wouldn’t have to bear down and push during a normal delivery.
