Hi, Kandi, I wish that I knew what to say to you related to your ongoing pain and the ongoing discomfort that you have expressed. As a transplant recipient, I am also well aware of the need to avoid certain medications because they can harm our liver or interfere with out antirejection medications.
I recall that you are going to undergo a procedure in October. Do you have a local Primary Care doctor? Does your doctor think the pain is related to your bile leakage? Are there any other ways to ease the pain like heat or cold compress ? Warm soaking bath? Maybe changing sleep position?
Hi
Thank you for responding
I have tried all that you have suggested, possibly that the pain is from bile leak, but there just watching, going to have CT on 8/14 we will see
Frustrated person

@kandidubrall At least there is a bright side to a CT because it is not an invasive procedure. I hope that it will provide some useful information that will guide the doctors to a positive next step in treatment.
Do you have to travel to get to your appointment on Monday?
Will you be meeting with the doctor on Monday to hear the results of the CT and consult with the doctor?
Hi Rosemary,
I don’t have an appointment until September 1, with my doctor, I finally had to take some medication last night, could not get comfortable enough to sleep
I was so tried I was crying,
I hoping everything will come down

Hi
That’s the thing I didn’t have a hard time after TP , I was great, until my bile leak, and pancreatitis, every since then I feel like I am going down hill
Kandi, I am so sorry to hear this, I know how painful that can be r they going to put a stent in for the bile duct leakage? I know pancreatitis takes time to get better.
I hope that u will get some relief soon, I would definitely think your TP team could help u w/pain relief. I know ur frustrated. I hope u get some answers very soon.
Hi Kandi, well u r wise in that u r letting your Dr. know what is going on their is a reason that they r being so cautious, again I hope u get some answers soon most of all pain relief, feeling better. 💪 hang in there.
Was wondering if anyone else is having problems with having a big stomach after 3 years of the transplant. Have had an ultrasound and no fluid buildup had 3 hernias repaired. Doesn’t feel soft like fat but quite firm.

Hi, @ilovegiaphangura. I don't have any experience as you describe, b\however, everytime I visit ,[=my transppant team annualloy, they do check my abdomen. I've honestly never asked why they did it, though.
I would like to tag fellow members, @footballmum, @jackie421blfdgurl, @patricia30 to this conversation. Perhaps they will have some ideas and experiences to share with you.
@ilovegiaphangura, What have your transplant doctors told you about this?
