@kandidubrall, I apologize for the confusion that I caused.
I intended to ask if you have created your account in Mayo Clinic's PATIENT ONLINE SERVICES? You can access your health information. appointments, billings, and send/receive message to/from your transplant team via your coordinator.

Here is where to creare an account, or to log in to your account.

The Mayo App that I referred to is the download for the app so you can access the information on your iphone. Here is the link if you are interested. https://www.mayoclinic.org/apps/mayo-clinic

I use both the online on my computer and have the App on my iphone . For me, it is a convenient way to ask a non urgent medical question to my coordinator.

Yes I have an account for my chart, I don’t reach out to them since I am a Kaiser patient, I was under the impression that I can no longer use Mayo Clinic even for questions, since Kaiser has taken over my care completely

Hi

Any reason he cannot accept a live donor liver?
They take 1/3 of the donor's liver and attach it to his body.
The liver grows to its normal size in 30 days for both parties.
Thanks for the kind words.
Regards

Dose he have cancer in his liver? Because if he does you need total liver transplant not partial one , or if the hole liver is to damage

Hello

There is no such thing as a partial liver transplant.
Transplantation refers to the removal of the patient's entire liver from his or her body.
Transplant procedures are classified into two categories.
One can acquire a whole liver from a deceased individual or a transplant from a living donor.
The living donor transplant works as follows:
A significant amount of the donor's liver is removed and placed into the patient's body.
If all conditions are normal, the liver is the only organ in a human that is meant to expand on its own.
In the best-case scenario, both the donor's and the patient's liver will grow within 30 days.

Hi kandidubrall, I know exactly how u r feeling the reason I was told is b/c they have to move our rib cage during the TP. I had horrible pain for a while, they put me on lidocaine patches and Robaxin which helped me a lot.
Yes, let me add congratulations on your LTP😊💚 I am almost 3 years. I hope you r doing well w/your new gift of life.

Hi, Kandi, I wish that I knew what to say to you related to your ongoing pain and the ongoing discomfort that you have expressed. As a transplant recipient, I am also well aware of the need to avoid certain medications because they can harm our liver or interfere with out antirejection medications.
I recall that you are going to undergo a procedure in October. Do you have a local Primary Care doctor? Does your doctor think the pain is related to your bile leakage? Are there any other ways to ease the pain like heat or cold compress ? Warm soaking bath? Maybe changing sleep position?
