Anyone had experience with OsteoStrong, who is not a franchisee?
Has anyone had experience with OsteoStrong? It suggests you will get a large increase in bone density while using their facility 10 minutes per WEEK. Somewhat pricey at $99 and up per month, but am curious if anyone who is NOT a franchisee, has experienced this program?

Yes, I’m in year 3. My bone density tests have shown improvement each time. I take calcium and d3 and am definitely stronger than when I started. I won’t take any osteoporosis drugs.
Good luck to you

4 ReactionsI have been going to osteostrong for a year. There is only one franchise in my area (Los Angeles) that has an agreement with the united healthcare renew program; so it's covered for me. However, I am not sure it's doing any good? I did maintain my dexa scores, so who knows? I am also doing a lot more exercise, strength training. I was hoping it would improve my posture/kyphosis and unfortunately even though they said it would help it hasn't.
the same here, attended facility for 9 mo truthfully and my dexa showed -2.9 (previously -2.7)

1 ReactionI just had a phone call with them yesterday. $147 per month 1x per week. They have a la cart (additional therapy options) didn't sign up, reading a lot cons to pros and no scientific proof. So on the fence at this minute.

3 ReactionsI have been going to OsteoStrong for about 18 months and am very pleased. I think the price is very reasonable for a one on one coach and treatment. My Dexa scan shows maintaining my bone mass which I am very pleased about. As long as I can stay where I am at I think it is a win! And I think the new research is very clear that this is a reasonable treatment for bone loss.

2 ReactionsI have been going for 5 years and my dexa has improved. I did some research and if you go to the NIH website it has a study that Osteostrong improved Tubercular Bone Scores.

4 ReactionsI response to the study from Greece, I think we can all agree there are so many errors in reporting that we cannot believe this until the original data is reviewed by another source. However there are other studies that support osteogenic loading reasonable for people who cannot do impact. If at all possible we should be doing heavy resistance training and impact but osteogenic loading with qualified coaches is a great substitute for impact. Now that my bone loss has stopped I am comfortable with impact training. New app from New Zealand called Osteo-Gains is a great place to start with pre-conditioning.
