Has anyone tried orofacial myofunctional therapy?

A friend of mine told me that someone suggested to her to try OMT for her insomnia. She was given an interesting pamphlet and now I'm wonder if anyone has tried it! If so, did it work?

Welcome Mel @melissasmidt, I had not heard of orofacial myofunctional therapy. I don't have insomnia but I have sleep apnea and it does sound like it could help with breathing and better sleep after looking at a few articles on the topic.

It certainly seems like something reasonable to try. Do you have insomnia?

I do; I've tried doing the CBT that was assigned to me, but I didn't get past the second set. I plan to pick it up again but it's not easy for me to go that slow (once a week for a set). I need all the info now and then I can slowly add routines to my life.
