Topiramate 50 Mg and Phentermine 15 Mg for weight loss

I had gastric bypass surgery in 2016.
Over time I regained the weight. Went to a gastric bypass doctor on referral by primary doctor.

He prescribed me Topiramate 50 Mg and Phentermine 15 Mg for weight loss management.

I am on the fence about taking these drugs even though he assured me it’s safe. Topiramate is a drug used to treat epilepsy and Phentermine is used to lessen appetite.

Has anyone in this group tried weight loss pills, if so which ones, were useful, and did you experience side effects.

Happy New Year to you too! I’m doing well. Since that post upthread I’ve continued in my fitness and health journey. I’ve continued to lose weight and am now 1 pound from my goal. It’s very exciting.

Here is a website below that explain about a dry fast.

It is not something I recommend doing until you do detail research. I have been water fasting for a couple of years before dry fasting.

Congrats to you as well! That’s a big accomplishment. Best wishes moving forward. 👏🏻💐👍⭐️

I was taking topirimate 50 mg for a short time and after a couple of weeks it did seem to make sweet stuff taste off.

It makes reduces desire for alcohol giving it turn off taste.

This worked great for me the first time I was on it it's very slow working and then they have to bump it up each time it quits working and add more to keep it working I had my hip replacement and so I went off of it for surgery and my fault I didn't start it right back up again so when I did months later started back up it then didn't work for me anymore so if you stop it it may not start working again

When I was popping this medication, I felt like a total boss thanks to its amazing efficacy, whether I started or stopped it. I was stopping and starting it all the time to figure out the perfect dosage schedule tooffset symptoms.

I still have some pills left, and I to use them to cut down on my beer cravings, which will let me enjoy dark lagers in moderation and minimize the risk of inflammation. Thanks for sharing your experience.
