Bottled Water

Posted by n4seth @n4seth, May 28, 2020

Are most of you drinking bottled water? If so, does any bottled water do? I am guessing you need to know what you are getting in the bottle. I am currently boiling my water at home for 10 minute, but if and when I ever get out again, I am guessing I will want to take bottled water with me. I am interested to know what other folks are doing. Thank you!

Is anyone aware of a brand of spring water that comes in a glass bottle? I currently use Mountain Valley Spring Water which does come in glass but it has had an odd taste the last couple of times (5 gallon glass bottles of it). And a plus would be one that Dr Falkinham recommends?

I know Dr. Falkinham had recommended Poland Spring Water since it seemed to have the least amount of bacteria. I order mine from Target.

I like using the Lifestraw 7 cup glass pitcher instead of buying the spring water

I have the pitcher but like getting minerals from spring water... Also do not like the taste of the Lifestraw water much.

Have you looked at adding minerals to your filtered water? Apparently, there are minerals drops and special water bottles available that can do that. I have zero experience with any solutions but I share your interest in finding better tasting (filtered) water. For awhile now I've been buying alkaline spring water but it's gets pricey.

I used powdered electrolytes to add minerals and a better taste to filtered water. Prefer the unsweetened brands.
