Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

Posted by redladyjoni @redladyjoni, Nov 26, 2018

I started having the only way I can explain it is internal vibrations. I've had them for 3 months now, I went to t hihe ER and they told me it was anxiety. A doctor diagnosed me at a clinic as having Lyme disease I've started a 21-day prescription of Doxycycline I'm on day 7. I went to a psychiatrist a week ago to get something because of my nerves are just over the brink. He prescribed me Gabapentin and Valium I've only been on them a few days.
Has anyone experienced these internal vibrations?I have them almost 24/7 chest neck stomach from the hips down. I have more lab tests that should be in today, but the doctor's office said that they would not call unless there was some abnormality in the lab work.

I do experience the never ending buzzing vibrations. I had a core sample done a few years back that showed that I length dependent neuropathy. I have since had Emus done and each showed the same diagnosis, length dependent neuropathy. Recently I had another EMG which showed that I have gotten much worse. I was diagnosed with peripheral polyneuropathy.

Correction:
EMG's not Emus

Neurological issues that manifest themselves as vibrations, tremmors, twitches, pins and needles, muscle weakness, gait and balance issues can be caused by many things, from viruses to exposure to environmental toxins, heavy metals, and more. Mine started about a week after I had a contrast MRI with Dotarem gadolinium injection. Although this doesn't affect everyone, it's possible there is a certain set of circumstances in those it does affect. Research indicates gadolinium can persist in the body for years, potentially releasing toxic nanoparticles into cellular mitochondria, causing systemic harm that's challenging to diagnose. I suspect I've experienced this firsthand, having gone from peak fitness as a triathlete to sudden health issues. Several months after the contrast MRI, I could barely stand. I had a full neurological checkup, and no identifiable disease has been found.
If you first experienced these symptoms in a six-week period after and MRI with contrast, you may want to look into gadolinium toxicity. See the image I included for more.

I experience these on the daily, mine are primarily shoulders, arms and most recently in my sides. I have been diagnosed with Myelopathy/Myelomalacia which comes from the spine. That might be an avenue you need to travel down, diagnosis is normally done with an MRI. I hope you get some answers soon

I've had an MRI of the brain, spine, and an EMG, as well as detailed immune and disease blood panels. There isn't much I haven't tested since.
In addition to the symptoms I mentioned, I had cognitive deficiencies that began in the days following the contrast MRI as well as the onset of insomnia. Weeks later, the cognitive issues were acute with delirium but have mostly resolved over the two years since, but a debilitating insomnia persists and has made life very difficult. I slept in a sleep lab but there is very little that can be observed and is known about sleep.
So yes, the contrast MRI for pain and swelling on the roof of my mouth that turned out to be tooth related changed my life.
The research on this is slowly revealing the mechanisms that cause the contrast formulation breakdown in the body, on the interactions contrast molecules have with calcium nerve receptors and iron. Alternatives to extremely toxic gadolinium are being developed. The contrast is well tolerated by most people, and circumstances in which it affects some, who are otherwise healthy, haven't been elucidated. It stays in the body in small but above normal amounts for years. Doctors are ignorant of the risks, and there are no treatments.
If your symptoms began in the days following the contrast MRI, you may be one of the unlucky ones.

To all those with internal tremors or vibrations. I developed these about two months ago and kept waking up several times a night to cover up my little Shih-Tzu thinking that it was him shivering, because I thought my bed was vibrating. It was an expensive vet bill to find out that my little boy has a clean bill of health. Then I was left with "can this be me?" To make a long story short, I started laying my hand next to him on the bed and it wasn't vibrating, so I laid my hand on my stomach and I could feel the vibration on the inside. When I am laying on my back and sound asleep, it really does feel like my entire bed is vibrating. What is most important for all of you with these internal tremors to hear is that by pure accident, I started taking a pill for liver support two weeks ago. It only has a few ingredients, and I was taking some of these separately for years, like Alpha Lipoic Acid and Selenium, so I knew it wasn't them, but one ingredient N-Acetyl Choline, there is 800 mg of that supplement in each pill and that stopped my tremors all day long with the first pill. I am supposed to take 2 of the liver support pills daily, but it has a tendency to make it more difficult for my bowels to move so I stick with one. I don't wake up at night to a vibrating bed at all anymore, and if I have any internal tremors at all they are when I first wake up and am lying in bed on my back. I have none during the day anymore and this was the most welcome and unbelievable side effect of the liver support pill that I could have ever had. The information I found on the tremors say that they don't harm you, but those things can drive a person mad when it feels like your entire stomach and back are shivering inside your body . When it started making my stomach quiver it felt like a nervous stomach. I walk 3-4 miles almost every day. I do all my own yard work and have lots of flowers and a veggie garden, so I am active and outdoors in fresh air and sunshine a lot. At 74, I didn't have anxiety until I got the internal tremors. I tried not to think about them during the day, and that worked by keeping busy, but it was hard not to think about them at night when they constantly woke me up out of a sound sleep to a vibrating bed. My dog is happy I found it was me and not him so I quit covering him up, and I wanted to share this for others to read. I typed into search engine, "benefits of N-Acetyl Choline," and all the information popped up, and YES, it is used for internal tremors, or professionally called "essential tremors," as well as Parkinsons and other things. They started out of no where for no apparent reason, and, as I said, I was waking up and covering up my dog several times a night, so my sleep cycle was really broken.

To dhansen78: Please check the post I placed below all of these just a few minutes ago. I didn't hit comment so I don't know if any of you will be notified. Look up benefits of N-Acetyl Choline. It is a supplement that stopped my internal tremors.

Garriston, please look at the post I just put up with regard to N-Acetyl Choline, a natural supplement I found my accident in a liver support pill that stopped my tremors.

Redladyjoni: I don't know if you are still on here as your post was in 2018, but if you are, please look at my post I put up a couple of minutes ago, without hitting reply, so I don't know if any of you would be notified, so I responded to three of you. Please put in search engine, "benefits of N-Acetyl Choline" and see what you think. I found this by accident two weeks ago. It is in a liver support pill I bought, and the first one I took stopped the internal tremors all day long. I had some for the first 2-3 nights after taking it. I was supposed to take one in the morning and one at night, but it has tendency to make it more difficult for my bowels to move so I only take one a day. My tremors are gone. Every now and again, I get a very light one upon waking up and laying in bed watching the news, but otherwise they are gone, and that little liver support pill with 800 mg of N-Acetyl Choline did that. Look it up and I'm sure you will find it interesting.

Why would a liver support pill help internal tremors. I have them and getting worse. I chalk it up to anxiety. How can I calm them down?

It is the main ingredient used in the liver support -- N-Acetyl Choline -- it has even been successfully used to assist in the treatment of Parkinson's. In search engine, just type "benefits of N-Acetyl Choline." Everything it can be used for will pop up, and I don't know why, I just know it made mine almost disappear completely. Some mornings when I wake up I still have some that are light, but I have been keeping a log and I think it is when I am not drinking enough water because I'm outside cleaning the leaves out of my yard for the upteenth time!! During the 2-3 hours I am out there I am not drinking anything, and by the time I get in I eat lunch or an early dinner and realize I have had very little to drink. I get up the next morning and the tremors are more prominent, but they still aren't waking me up several times a night with a vibrating bed. I don't know why it helps, but I'm not pushing the liver pill, that is why I provided the 800 mg of N-Acetyl Choline that is the main ingredient. If I could take it morning and night, as directed, there is no doubt in my mind there would be no more tremors at all, but I need to keep my bowels moving and 2 a day tend to constipate me. You should be able to go online and find this supplement at a Health Food Store. The liver support pill I use is made in the USA, and as I said I got them about 2 weeks ago and took my first one that morning with my other vitamins and 2-3 hours later I realized I was not having any tremors. Mine were prominent at night while in bed, but they were in my stomach and shoulder blades and my buttocks and thighs throughout the day. The ones in my stomach made me feel extremely uncomfortable, but the ones while sleeping, or attempting to sleep, while getting woke up several times a night were very problematic for me. I couldn't believe it when I realized I wasn't having any tremors. The first thing I asked myself is what have I done differently today and I realized I took the liver pill. I looked up each ingredient, but the main ingredient is the 800 mg of N-Acetyl Choline. It is a supplement I have never taken before, and I take several supplements daily because the body, as it ages, does not absorb a lot of the vitamins and minerals we need, and I have an artificial aortic valve, so I watch for changes in my body. I didn't say anything for over 2 weeks because I wanted to make sure relief from the tremors didn't just go away. It didn't, and, in fact, just taking one a day, it strengthens so the tremors are ZIP, ZERO, NONE during the day and I am no longer woke up by them at night. Few of us know the workings of the liver or the type of work-horse that organ is. It filters absolutely everything we eat and drink that goes into our body, and possibly any lotions we put on our body or things we smell and breathe. All I know for a fact is that several years ago I started getting pain in my right side and my PA sent me for an ultrasound which showed "thickening" in the top of the liver. I ordered these pills way back then, but didn't have the tremors. They took care of the thickening in my liver and the pain went away. I noticed it returning about a month ago with the same symptoms so I went online to find the pills I took before. It took me about 10 days to receive my order and as I told you, about 2-3 hours after taking that first pill I realized I had not had any tremors that morning. I thought maybe they disappeared as mysteriously as they appeared -- out of nowhere -- but when I woke up the next morning I felt the tremors in my back while laying on my back. I got up and took my vitamins and supplements; and I put my liver pill in the cabinet with them so I don't forget to take it. I made my big mug of cocoa and started my day, noticing, again the tremors are non-existent within less then an hour of taking the pill. That's all I can tell you Lynne, I am very careful with anything I take and start off slowly to determine any changes anything new is making in my body. I felt more energy the first day, and I feel more content throughout the day. That could be the N-Acetyl Choline, or it could just be not having the stinking tremors all day long and short bouts of interrupted sleep throughout the night. I waited to make certain it wasn't a waning occurrence and wanted to get on here to tell others in case it may help them too. I research to find natural alternatives because I don't have the allergy or sensitivity issues with most natural remedies that I do with todays pharmaceuticals.
