@mosaics

My recovery was immediate. The day I stopped taking Preservision, my symptoms, which were digestive tract issues, went away.

Same here. I found a capsule with only lutein and have had no side effects

I switched to Preservision from Ocuvite about 4 months ago. I am experiencing muscle soreness and swelling in my calves as if they are bruised. I also had Covid October 1 that put me in the hospital -- regimen of steroids, antibiotics and Remdesivir. I ended up with a massive double ear infection but doing fairly well now. I don't know what to blame for the edema in my calves, but going off of Preservision to see if that helps.

I’ve been on Areds for years and have not experienced any side effects. I’m guessing the remdesivir or vaccines are the culprit. The mortality rates in the US sky rocketed during Covid and Covid was only part of the story. You can read about what insurance companies reported as far as the numbers. Of course, much has been not reported by Big Pharma.?

Am I correct in understanding your post to say that you think the COVID vaccines and treatments have caused a reaction to Preservision AREDS?

If that’s what you are saying, then I would disprove your theory. My reaction to AREDS started before COVID (although I did not know the cause at the time), and I didn’t have any of the vaccines or the remdesiver.

I have AMD in both eyes. I've been taking AREDS2 after breakfast and after dinner. Recently, I read somewhere that it is a good practice to take AREDS2 after eating two or three bites of food instead of waiting til after a meal. Which is better?

My eye doctor recommended Areds2 for preventing further macular degeneration. I ordered the Bausch and Lomb brand and took one with my breakfast. I had stomach pain and a little nausea for the next two days. I am all for prevention of retina problems especially with a supplement, but this was more discomfort than I care to have. I am wondering what is in this product that causes this problem. I never have stomach aching like this unless I have an intestinal virus or food poisoning.

It's the zinc oxide that causes the problem. The dose is too high and it is a cheap form of oxide which is hard to digest.
