How do you deal with dry eyes?

And sooo much cheaper.

I have dry eyes and dry mouth as well. To compound the problem, I use a CPAP, which no matter what I do, sometimes blows air right into my eyes. I have used a hanky to block the airflow, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. I have also been using Systien eye drops. I am going to get the Thermalon or Bruder eye pads.

Have you tried the ointment for your eyes?
I've never used a CPAP or BiPAP machine so I don't have much knowledge of them other than my cousin using one. Have you contacted your respiratory therapist? They were quite helpful when my cousin went to see them.

I just saw my eye doctor for this.
She told me to do the following every day.
AM and PM put warm compression on eyes for about 5-7 minutes
Use eye scrub on closed eyelids
Use Refresh Plus lubricating eye drops in the am and Refresh PM eye drops in the pm.
I bought all of these from Amazon.

I received the same advice from two eye doctors and it did not help.

Did something else help or are you still struggling?

I wish I had something good to impart, but still have not found a solution to my dry eye which is only in my right eye. And help appreciated.

Thought I would add my two cents for what it is worth. I have to avoid eye drops with Carboxymethylcellulose (basically all of the Refresh Tears brand) as they feel great at first but then increase the dryness and cause me to use drops hourly throughout the day, they make my eye painfully dry. It was like a miracle when I stopped using them and switched to a different brand, now I only use drops around 4x/day.

Which drops? I use Systane Original often throughout the day and night
