Calcified 10cm aortic aneurysm
I have yearly cat scans on my lungs(former smoker) for lung nodules.
In the reports they say that I have a 10cm calcified, aortic aneurysm, but neither my pulmonary or primary Dr have ever said anything about it. Should I be worried? Do I need to go see someone for this and if what kind of Dr do I see?

Yes. You should discuss this specifically with a doctor. The number 10cm is unusual enough that I wonder if you have it right. If it’s right, get in to see someone sooner than later. When was your scan?
They saw it on 11/15/2023.
I have another Cat Scan in October of this year. I will ask them to check that to make sure and then I will talk to my Dr about it.
I hesitate to comment because every case is so individual and I am not in the medical profession in any way. Yet, if it were me, I'd call my PCP and tell him/her what they told you about this aneurysm and ask him/her if you should be doing anything about it. Your PCP can recommend a doctor if that is appropriate. It's just a phone call.
I'd encourage you not to wait until October. As you have probably learned from this group, most people with an aneurysm are given some instruction about blood pressure and activity modification.
Yes that’s what the report read. I have a scan in October I will ask that the radiologist look at it to measure to be sure
