Post Covid Head Pressure/ Dizziness
I am new here, I had covid last year, I have not been the same since, I feel like I am dizzy often, I have head tightness and pressure, some times stabbing pain in my temples. Feels like vertigo at night when I am just sitting there. its horrible, I had had 2 cat scans of my head, nothing came up. I really believe this is from Covid.

Hello, I feel your pain…I had Covid in December of 2022 and lost my taste and smell. I’ve had 4 Stellate Ganglion Block injections for my loss of taste/smell. It’s helped slightly, where I can now smell my coffee grounds every morning and have a stronger sense of salty, sweet, sour/bitter on my tongue. What the SGB did do for me was help my anxiety. I don’t feel as shaky as I once did and that has helped me a lot. I’m not on any anxiety drugs or anything like that, so this was not expected, but I’m happy about it. Now if I could just get the taste and smell back, that would be so wonderful! I too was off balance and felt like I was on a boat, but that seems to have subsided as well.
Hi @lkirnbauer ... so glad these injections helped you along and allayed your anxiety. I hope you'll continue to improve -- tasting, smelling, and feeling altogether "normal," though I'm not sure that word has a specific meaning these days!!
Hi again, @mbryant1380 ... I agree...this platform has been a godsend, allowing us to share symptoms, experiences, doctors, therapies, as well as the invisible emotional toll LC takes with folks who understand and empathize because they're there, too. I think maybe I posted this website earlier, but here again: https://www.positivelycovid.org/ Amy has created a site full of all kinds of support, including updates, interviews, and guided meditations specific to Long Covid. Hope you enjoy more and more hours and days of feeling lots better. xoxo
