Has anyone had chronic itchiness of the scrotum that persists?

Posted by heisenberg34 @heisenberg34, Nov 16, 2023

I have had fairly severe itchiness of the scrotum for the past year or two. Tries OTC stuff, then went to dermatologist who prescribed tubes of topical cream (Ketoconazole). Washed, dried daily, applied med for over a month. No real help. Anyone out there experience a similar situation? Thanks

The antifungal cream that I used to cure my private parts fro, itchuness is called Tagrid Foot and jock itch antifungal cream. I found it on Amazon. You have thoroughly cleanse and dry the affected area thoroughly morning and night for two weeks, minimum. It has ingredients, most of which, I have never heard of. At $24.95 fo 3,5 ouces, it is worth every penny. I am not sayying that it work for everyone, but it worked like a charm for me.

Please tell me the name of the product you are using. I’ve had itching problems for more than 20 yrs, and cannot find anything that helps. Please send info to my email address. 1151topper@ gmail.com

It's called Tagrid antifungal for foot fungus and jock itch. $24.95 at Amazon. Completely did away with all my private parts itchiness. You have to use twice daily for at least two weeks, being sure to cleanse and completely dry the affected areas prior to application. I had used every OTC stuff and prescription cream with no success. I'm not saying that every person will benefit, but it has sure worked for me.

It sounds like a 'local eczema' that is usually treated by steroid creams but I gather such a cream is unsuitable for use around the eyes ( where I've had it in the past ) and genital areas although I believe suitable alternatives are available. I've always understood that such eczemas can be a symptom of anxiety or stress ( certainly in my case ) and of course, by design, the genitals are richly innervated.

i get this year round. i sweat profusely. plus i wear a bladder leak pad. but strangely it's always the left testicle. just the underside. it's so irritating. shower, wash it in between showers. but still itches. no clue. i'll see my Urologist and ask about that scrapping. d

Interestingly it seems to be my left side also. I'm guessing its as they say how our penis lays. I'm told it has a tendency to lean to one side. probally explains it.

Thank you for your reply. I just ordered the product from Amazon. I bought the $22.00 dollar container instead of the smaller tubes. Supposed to be hear on the 11th. I’ve had this itching for over 20 yrs and nothing else has worked. Really optimistic. Thanks again.

that's a tough one. not to be TMI. i'm small in length. it don't lean left or right. just point's down. or up. depending on how i wear the leak guard. understand?
i am curious about how many men here in this thread are. left side or right side. or i should say the testicle. d 🏳️‍🌈

FYI... the original product that I used was called Pharmbanner antifungal Ringworm, jock itch cream. It has been out of stock on Amazon for almost two months. That's why I ordered the Tagrid. It seems to be working as well as the first cream If Tagrid doesn't help you, look for the Pharmbanner to come back in stock. I do think the Tagrid will help clear up the itchiness. Just be ready for a bit of a "burn". It has a lot of menthol in it, so it may take one or two applications to get used to it.
