Stiff Heart - diastolic heart failure
I have been diagnosed with "stiff heart" and would like to have as much information on this topic first hand. Any way to improve this conditions? What do I expect as it progresses?

@lioness I don’t actually swim, I sort of jog in the water and I do a “faux” breast stroke with my feet on the bottom. I go backwards too.
I don’t like to put my face in the water without holding my nose! Plus I wear my Bluetooth hearing aids in the pool so I can exercise to music - obviously I don’t get my ears wet either. The music keeps me going to the beat, and makes the time go by faster. I also go to water aerobics classes but I don’t have my music on then.

I send you love and prayers for continued health on this special day!!
@peach For inflammation buy ginger-turmeric tea if you can drink this it is good for inflammation and ginger is good for upset stomach. I use the ginger myself and it reduces the acid in stomach
Thanks
@lioness he's pretty much a fitness nut and he eats well so he's on top of me if he thinks I am not. For all of his growing up years I did not exercise and I was heavy so he is really happy to see me taking better care of myself. My daughter is less expressive but I know she is too. She is more "normal" and does, like most of us, give in to temptation at times. She swims for exercise.

@lioness @peach414144 If you are referring to the ginger turmeric "chai" made by Rissi or something like that, I love it. The only problem is that it is sweetened so I don't drink it too much. They sell it at Whole Foods. It tastes so indulgent though, yummy.
I put chai in quotation marks because it is called chai but chai translates to tea and it really is not tea, at least not tea made from tea leaves.
