Yupelri for asthma

My pulmonologist added yupelri nebulizer to my regimen for asthma plus Breyna which is a generic for symbicort. I wonder if or what side effects you had from yupelri. Thank you

For reference here is a description of yupelri.

It's an anticholinergic, which is generally discouraged for use with bronchiectasis because it dries up the mucus that we work to expel. Is the steroid inhaler not controlling your asthma alone?

I was given it at the same time so I really don’t know if the puffer alone will help. I am going to experiment though and stop yupelri and see especially that I think it makes me very constipated. Thank you for your response scoop. I knew it dries me but I had problems breathing and tight chest. I am also anxious using steroid inhaler because of Mac- it’s a no win situation but the truth is now I breath much easier.

I was prescribed Duoneb as a bronchodialator followed by 7% saline then lastly Stiolto. This was recommended by NJH. My local pulmonogist then replaced the Stiolto with Yupelri since as it is nebulized it went directly to lungs rather using an using an inhalor. Haven't seen a change in mucus production. I would certainly use it after saline.

Thank you. I think I am dried and have bad constipation- did not experience it before and I read it could be a side effect. I won’t nebulize it for a few days and see if there is any difference. Will also contact my pulmonologist. Thank you for your response because it always helps to share our experience

Where can I reference contraindication of yupelri for bronchiectasis because of drying of mucus. I have researched and cannot find scientific data specific for BE.

Thank you. My local and NJH recommended Duoneb as first nebulized med. It contains anticholinergic followed by 7% saline. Then Stiolto which has an anticholinergic as does Yupelri. Confusing.
I certainly understand using lastly but wonder if it restricts later clearance.
