What treatments are available for ampulla dysplasias?

What treatments are available for 82 years old female patient? She has dysplasias cells in her ampulla blocking the bile fluid flow. Her 2 stents cannot maintain the flow.

I have no medical training and don't know if her dysplasias are cancerous or not, but some of the discussion in this thread of the pancreatic cancer forum _might_ be relevant:

Very helpful information. Patient will have EUS in few days. Hopefully we can get a diagnosis. So far just monitoring and waiting.

During eus last week, a growth from ampulla toward common duct was observed and a tissue sample of 1.8 cm was taken. Results are reactive changes and no dysplasia or malignancy. Pathology is sending tissue samples from past biopsies to Mayo Clinic for second read. How soon will we hear back? Should we do IR to take sample from ampulla
Where has dysplasia’s in thin layer along the lining of ampulla wall to confirm if turned to cancer? One doctor suggested to place an internal drain. Another doctor suggested a variation of Whipple. Patient has been recommended not do Whipple assuming classic version due to her age by doctor suggested internal drain. Can a mini Whipple be an option? Any information on mini Whipple to provide to me? Any other options to treat her condition to clear the obstruction to allow her to digest her food?
