What is Myxo mucinous stroma please help

Posted by samanthabean3 @samanthabean3, May 19, 2020

I recently had a core needle biopsy done on my lyph nodes. It came back focal included myxo mucinous stroma, rare neutrophills, eosinophils, plasma cells, and histiocytes. But my ENT doctor couldn't tell me what any of this is, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @samanthabean3, welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Can you check the spelling in the biopsy report? Was it "myxoma"? Where was the biopsy taken from, in other words which lymph nodes in what part of your body?

Thank you. @colleenyoung It is spelled the way I spelled it. It was from my left lymph node in my neck. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
