What brought you joy today?
If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:
1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

3 Reactions@zenren14 A very good move.
If you ever do want to stay more connected without all the doomscrolling, I find it helpful to subscribe directly to news providers using an RSS reader. That gets me away from the endless overanalysis, fake anger, and panic on social media, but still lets me keep up what's happening in the world in a calm, measured way.
Checking my RSS news feeds (from BBC, CBC, etc) 1×/day is usually more than enough.

5 ReactionsHaving Jaxson, our border collie, along for a cool morning hike on a forested trail to a favorite mountain lake. Fresh tracks on the path let us know the deer enjoyed a similar start to their day prior to our arrival.
