What brought you joy today?

If you've been living with cancer for a while, you know it's not all gloom and doom. Where did you find joy today? I'll start:

1. Working in my garden.
2. Meeting my daughter for tea.
3. Home-made pizza for dinner.
4. My spouse (always).
5. Some interesting online discussions.
6. Rereading a good novel.

Seeing my dog try to "bribe" me. She gets one Kong a day filled with peanut butter and she'd already had it. She brought it back for a "refill" but I said "no." She went away and came back with her favorite toy, a stuffed squirrel, and dropped it in my lap. I praised her and then she immediately brought the Kong back again for another try. Of course I caved in because of her masterful negotiation skills.
