Wet Macular Degeneration: What treatment helps you?

Posted by lvon @lvon, Jul 22, 2020

I have recently tried a different injection for my Wet Mac and was almost cleared up and was worstend by this drug. I have gone back on my previous drug and cannot get any satisfying results. Has anyone had this experience?

Are you bleeding every month or does your doctor believe it's the best practice to inject whether you are or not

No bleeding; I have fluid, hence, wet macular degeneration. When I stretch it to longer periods of time, the bubble gets larger and I cannot see well.

There are injections for Dry AMD. Your retina doctor may use a specific medicine. Make sure doctor is a good retina doctor and deals only in retina treatment.

Not all “dry AMD” patients qualify for these injections. No current injection reverses dry AMD or improves vision — unlike for wet AMD. There are no shots available for dry intermediate AMD.
