Has anyone had eye injections for Macular Degeneration stop working?

Has anyone had several years of eye injections for wet AMD with steady improvement then suddenly the eye is worse? My eye is worse now but not as bad as at the beginning of treatment.
My Dr only shortened my eye injection time frame by 4 weeks. Now every 18 weeks. I was just told if things get worse to call them right away. And my medication was not changed either. I asked if it had stopped working. They didn’t think that was the case.

I had at least a years worth of injections but MD stopped as no further effects. Now it's in my other eye and have started with new eye dr who is using Eylea . He states the results are promising.
