Hi, been 4 years clear of bowel cancer with permanent stoma. Treatment major operation 6 months chemo (oxaliplatin) 25 visits radiotherapy. Now 4 year's with severe sensory axonal polyneuropathy caused oxaliplatin nerve study at Kings hospital london confirmed. Treatment pregabalin/amitriptyline/duloxetine all to a high dosage nothing worked. Just weaning off low dosage of duloxetine next medication gabapentin. Neurologist has said it's something you will have to live with. Can’t complain chemo cleared me of cancer.
