Hi, @fern123. Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Fatigue and dizziness do sound like a challenging way to live.

We have a number of discussions about escitalopram (Lexapro) in the Connect depression and anxiety group, so I'd encourage you to check out a couple:

- Anyone taking Escitalopram? I just started? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/escitalopram/

- Lexapro for anxiety https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/lexapro-for-anxiety/

What does your doctor say about the medication and alleviating those symptoms?

It's hard to say for sure. You might notice that dizziness and fatigue start to improve. However, it's also possible that the original symptoms Escitalopram was treating could return.
Firstly, for most people, those side effects fade away after a few weeks. How long have you been taking the medicine?

Second, the most important thing is to know that you shouldn't do it before talking to your doctor. It is VERY risky to stop the medicine all at once. It can do you more harm than good.
Your doctor should make a plan to gradually reduce the dose over time.

Just please, don't do anything before speaking to your doctor.
