Vitamin Supplements and Parkinson

Posted by Starbright @gulfer, Jul 13, 2017

Hi everyone! İ bought some vitamins for my mom like COQ10, B12, C, E, B12, Ginko, K2. İ was wondering how much vitamins should she get in a day.(besides her medicine) Because that is a lot of vitamins and just wondering how can she benefit most. She has early stage Parkinson.Thank you!-Gulfer.

Nice to hear from you. It sounds like you are doing very well with both the meds and the exercise program. I'm doing OK. Still have the thigh tightness and now some neuropathy on the inner right leg. An EMG showed some inflammation at the root of a never in the lumbar spine, L5. PT has helped that some. I have some options of getting a steroid shot or taking Neurontin, but I'm not sure about that yet.

I'm having some evaluations regarding a heart valve issue right now, so I'll see how that goes.

I look forward to hearing from you after your neuro appointment at the end of May.

Teresa

I think the rigorous pedaling has helped me a lot. Good luck with evaluations. I'll let you know what neurologist says about magnesium.
