Virtual or other Long COVID support group meetings
I have been on this page for awhile now. Does anyone know of any virtual Long COVID support meetings? I found one through HeyPeers, but it only meets once a month. Hang in there everyone!

I looked at the support groups link. There are groups and they seem to be on social media, like Facebook. I am not on Facebook anymore as it is too depressing and chaotic. I am looking for a group on a platform like Zoom. Although some of you may be on Facebook and that would be a place where I think there would be more support. I will keep looking. Thank you for the link as they do have some resources.

I’ve found online long Covid support and info at the Mayo Clinic Connect site, They host a variety of groups for many conditions, all under the watchful eye of coordinators. There are now over 7000 longhaulers checking in. Go to connect.mayoclinic.org and scroll down to post Covid…I’ve been connected since 2023, shortly before I got the diagnosis, and knew far more than my doctor within a few weeks. Information and understanding, along with some useful life hacks, have been a lifeline for me🙏
Whoops… this was intended for another site… those of us on connect already know about this resource😉
I found the Bateman Horne Center has support groups for Long Covid that meet twice a month on Zoom. I just signed up so I don’t have any experience with them yet. Here is the link to their calendar and registration: https://batemanhornecenter.org/events/
There’s a lot of resources on their website for ME/CFS and Long Covid
Thank you. I will check it out!
I found this a couple of weeks ago. I have not read too many of the op eds, but some of you may find it helpful.

I just was on my first support group with Bateman Horne Center. There were around 190 on Zoom. It was led by a professional. The focus of today’s discussion was about dealing with depression. There were 4 questions posed to the group that they could use as a guide if they wanted to participate, but it was not required that they only discuss those questions. I found it to be very helpful and will definitely join again! It lasted one hour. I appreciated that they allowed that many to join, where HeyPeers limits the number that can join to a small group. Hope you can join next month - they meet on the 2nd and 3rd Tuesdays.
