Vaccine booster after getting Long Covid?

Posted by dawg @dawg, May 21 1:59pm

I got all my vaccines (Pfizer) along the way with my last in Oct 2023, but got mild case of Covid in late Jan 2024 which resulted in current LC. According to my medical records I’m due for another booster (I’m 66). I saw a Canadian study from last year where most of their study group had improved LC symptoms after getting the vaccine. Anyone have any experience in this either good or bad?

I have had several specialist tell me to get one to see if it will help my symptoms.I have seen several articles saying LC patients improved.I want to,but I am nervous at the same time.

I had all vaccines and boosters when I got covid last year, then LC. I have gotten one booster, since getting LC and I saw no difference. I actually should get another booster now, but am in no hurry. (Type 1 diabetes)

My LC symptoms didn't get worse or better after booster. I'm immune compromised due to a kidney transplant, so I get all vaccines/boosters as soon as I'm eligible. (But being immune compromised, I make few if any antibodies anyway lol. )

I have long COVID and have had all my doses and boosters (I’m immunocompromised). My symptoms didn’t get better or worse after the booster(s), but I still get all of them because I have absolutely zero interest in getting COVID again, risking getting my family sick, or risking having worsening long COVID symptoms by actually getting COVID.
