Upping dosage

Hi everyone am new here but I want to ask how anyone felt on a dosage been upped. I was on 225mg about a year ago and wanted to start tapering off my meds so gp put me down to 150mg and I was doing well on it until about 7 weeks ago I fell and had an injury which resulted in me having surgery, since then my anxiety has increased so Dr upped my meds to 225mg again am now on day 15 of my meds and I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how it affected them as am still anxious in morning and nervous tummy my meds are Venlafaxine. Please tell me it gets easier.
