Hello I've been saying that for years about type 1 diabetes. It's true, it's all about type 2. I even mentioned that to my Dr and she just gave me a little smile and that was it.
Hi - I totally agree. I understand that the population with Type 1 is much smaller, and Big Pharma sees much more $ in Type 2 treatment (see Ozempic), but Type 1 is much more complicated and more difficult to deal with and more deadly.

I would be happy to discuss all things diabetes. Cliff notes of my story: 1975 Type 1 diabetes, 1981 & 1984 two pregnancies with diabetes (2 fantastic daughters by C - section), 2005 pancreas transplant, 2016 Type 2 diabetes and stage 4 chronic kidney disease (CKD). Currently using a continual glucose monitor (Dexcom G6 CGM) and insulin pump (Omnipod 5). Inactively listed for kidney transplant at Mayo Clinic Transplant Center. What kind of Diabetes Type 1 questions and concerns do you have?
I’m new and if you want to discuss Type 1 lmk. I think it would help me and hopefully you too!
