Hello out there! I have been here before: Need to catch up here, I have two kinds of Lung Cancer. Right Lung is plain old cancer/Left Lung is mesothelioma. I also have Macular Degeneration. Was really sick the whole month of March. Coughing all the time. Day trip to hospital, Received a Zpac, to take, helped some. EMT checked my throat. Thankfully no cancer there. Another Zpac to take. Feel somewhat better but still fill like I have a cold. Having a Pet Scan on May 3rd.Results May 10. May 4 a big blood test. Results May 11 at Kidney Doc. Just feel "Down. I also have a book to write, no energy for that right now. Maybe it's too much rain, not much sun! Don't know what, why or???. I seem to be sleeping ok, but still tired. any idea's? I just turned 84 and dealing with all this stuff. I was diagnosis January 2016. No treatment of any kind yet. and also no pain. Am fortunate for several t(hings.

Hi Nancy:

I’m so glad that you posted, you have been on my mind. It sounds like you have had a lot going on. I hope that you begin to recover from all of these difficulties soon. It really is OK to feel sorry for yourself every now and then, I can understand why all of these setbacks would be hard on you. You always have a way of regaining your positive attitude.

I’m so sorry to hear that your daughter-in-law is having problems again. How very difficult for your whole family. I’m sure you are concerned for her. How is your son managing with his wife’s illness? I’ll be sure to pray for you both.

Is your husband managing OK while you are not feeling well?

Take care and keep in touch, Nancy.

Hi Teresa, (Nancy) Since me last chemo and blood transfusion I have not felt good at all. It may now have been the blood. bit one of the ingredients in the chemo that put me down so far. I had chemo again today and my doc left one of the ingredients out. So I only had two types of stuff. Am really very tired and will take all meds and go to bed about 8:30 if I make it that far. Long day I had to be in McMinnville, Oregon, at 10am this morning which is 65 miles away from where I live on the beach. Hour & Half with two hours there, stopped visited with cousin Timber, she made me half grilled cheese sandwich and made some fudge for husband Bob. We left there drove to Tillamook, Or for to pick up medicine and came home arriving about 4:30. So How goes my day......Hope your was better. More maybe tomorrow. (shortshot80)

@shortshot80 Hi Nancy:

I'm glad to hear from you. You did have a busy day yesterday and I'm sure you must be very tired. It sounds like the visit with your cousin, Timber, was a nice one. She sounds like a thoughtful person as well as a good cook!

I hope the reduced chemo will help you feel better and get stronger. By the way, has the swelling your face went down?

Thinking and praying for you and wishing you better days.

@shortshot80 Hi Nancy

It was good to hear from you. I will be thinking about you on Monday when you have your appointment for your pacemaker problem. I hope it can get resolved easily, I hope that you will feel better when that is working correctly.

I am also glad to hear that you are having less of a problem with anxiety as well as some of the stomach issues. I hope your appointment with the cancer doctor provides you with some more relief.

I look forward to hearing from you when you can post again.
