So does diet, play any part in autoimmune disease. My wife wants me to see a nutritionist who uses Leap (lifestyle , eating and performance. They use a MRT (mediator release test which is blood work. The whole deal will cost me close to 1000.00 this includes three meetings with a nutritionist to go over results and set up a plan. Good idea or not

Good find easy read !!! Same stuff I been reading you can drive yourselfbatty with info overload tired read it in am good luck T Y
I take omegas doing something right
As I always say, good for some, not so good for others. I became addicted to sushi just before I got sick, I ate it every day, I love seafood, but I overdo it. I was also taking omega’s supplement and my doctor told me to stop, of course I always listen to my Dr.
but the sushi went also because any seafood has a lot of iodine ( some more than others ), so my friend, you do what is best for you, but I still eat seafood, but a lot less. Good luck. Lacey
Thanks John, I will check out that link, I usually am very careful and do a lot of research before I try anything new, goofed on sushi, ( won’t do that again ) Now I watch what I eat, except I do have a sweet tooth, any substitutes for that bad habit???? Lacey
Hi Wesbig, do you have any health insurance, as they would pay for a portion of the treatment, also they would be able to recommend a doctor who specilizers in this , it’s worth a try, even if you have to pay the full amount, health is worth it, without it , it could get worse. Lacey
My husband has been taking tumeric for 3 months. Two masses have disapeared and two have shrunk. He also had pin point radiation . Hard to know if it helped or not. Will continue to take anyway.
Diet plays a big part just as well as mind set. My husband has been following keto diet to starve the cancer as well as watching acidity . Lots of supplements. He feels great and results have been fantastic. He is also on cotellic and zellboraf. God is great Pam
Sushi is full of mercury ! I love it also
I have used turmeric but frankly I don’t see much change.
You need pepper or my husband has tumeric with minerva. It helps your body absorb it. Pam
If you don’t mind my asking, which cancer is he using the keto diet for? From the meds I gather melanoma. What kinds of supplements does he mainly take?
Hi, this is Lacey, I also had non-hodgkins lymphoma and I swear by curcumin, I take one pill a day ofTurmeric Supreme with my vitamins and Ensure, every morning with a light breakfast, it has given me back some of the energy I lost from chemo and my tests have been clean and perfect numbers. I have been in remission since Jan. 2015, so we are doing something right. Good Luck.
curcumin is a lifesaver. i have both a narcotic and a muscle relaxant but they don’t touch the kind of pain from spinal stenosis/sciatica/other autoimmunes. i lost a kidney some years back and drs are adamant i don’t use nsaids (i would kill for aleve right now) i discovered curcumin over the internet at “natural healthy…” and they have a product called curamin that also has other healing natural herbs like boswelia. it’s a lifesaver for me, hope it can help someone else.
I know it as Curcumin Bioperine is tumeric w black pepper oil
