Can any doctor out there help me? I have been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia and Parkinson's Disease. Is it possible I have Microvascular compression syndrome?

Hi I’m new to the group. Diagnosed Feb. 2024. Currently taking Speech, OT and PT. Currently taking Rytary after carbidopa-lebadopa. Sorry if spelled wrong.
Most frustrating is dealing with the non-motor symptoms of PD.

Welcome to the group, Mary. My spouse has PD.He is in Stage 3 almost 4 according to the consult to a Neuro/ Movement Disorder. He will be starting PT and Speech Therapy as soon as I can get him an appointment.
I just wanted to give a little info about what is happening now. I would suggest getting your house ready to prevent falls, shower rails, rugs that stay in place. While you did not say what your deficits are as far as ambulating, etc.I found the Parkinsons Assoc.can be of help if you are interested. They will send free books to get you started in familarizing yourself and know what you can do or just educate you. Mayo has lots of info. Again glad you joined us. 🫂
