Tinnitus: Is there any way to stop this?
I got tinnitus in 1970 on the firing range during basic training in the Army. My right ear has never stopped ringing. I can hear but just thru the noise. It seems to be getting louder and moving to the left ear as well. Is there any way to stop this? Should I be worried my hearing will get worse.?

Ha! I also got tinnitus in the military around 1973. They took us out for an exercise but then somebody switched plans and sent us to the rifle range... and NONE of us had brought our ear plugs. My ears rang severely for 4 days and have never been the same! Now much older and it is worse than it was 10 years ago. No cure as far as I can tell. Someone has tried high dose of the "hugging hormone", but it was never confirmed to work.
