Howdy,
22 yr AF vet, who has been retired for 20 years, w terrible ringing in both ears. Recently had ozone therapy and it stopped! Albeit for maybe a half hour, but I cried! It was the first time in decades there was silence. Made me wonder a few things. One, it was the first time I heard "inflammation " used. This made me wonder about diet, as well as damage. I also saw my primary and she noticed some fluid. Two, how to alleviate that?

Most importantly, what did blowing pure air into the ear do...was just calling the ear canal enough to stop the ringing for a little while? I tell ya, and you all know, when I can't "tune it out" it's maddening!!! Ill check out that article mentioned above. Thank you!

@cathylil Hearing Aids worked wonders for mine. It blocked out about 90% of the ringing in my hears. One ear has a high pitched sound and the other ear sounds like Morse Code. I do have hearing loss as well from the Tinnitus. You can have Tinnitus WITHOUT hearing loss too. Caffeine and too much sodium I find makes the Tinnitus worse.

Fluid in the ears is common and often comes from sinus issues or ear infections or cold/flu. I find the fluid in my ears comes and goes. Sometimes they will prescribe antibiotic for it. I definitely do not hear as well when I have fluid in my ears.

Praying for you to get relief from this. I'm so sorry you have this.

THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY. GOD BLESS YOU!
