Thanks for All The Responses
I just joined the group and first posted two days ago, asking how long before benefits were realized.
I cannot begin to thank everyone for the responses received. I am SO glad I joined this group.
The daunting and unique challenges of OHCM are so much easier to deal with when you can connect and share with others similarly afflicted.

There are many benefits to belonging to an online support group, and you aptly mentioned one of them...being able to share with others who are going through a similar journey.
HOCM is such a strange condition, and knowing others are out there who can understand the ups and downs, the good days and bad days, the risks and challenges, is so helpful to us personally. You don't feel alone.
I remember when I was first diagnosed (after many a misdiagnosis) that I didn't know what it was, I didn't know anyone with it, and I had nobody I could talk to.
I joined Connect sometime after my first visit to Mayo Clinic Rochester and like you, quickly realized the warm and caring support available to me. It felt like I found a true friend when I needed one the most! So welcome again @garyhawthorn, and I hope you will come back and let us know how you are doing on Camzyos and with your progress. When is your first echo after starting Camzyos?
I have found great information on this blog and I hope you do, too! I try to respond to people's comments since Everybody's experience is insightful for me. I have found great relief being on Camzyos. It has literally changed my quality of life.
