Success: Transarterial Radioembolization (TARE, Y90) for Liver Cancer
3 months after this procedure my liver cancer was totally gone on CT scan - have others had this experience. I'm happy with it - no side effects and a great result.

2 Reactions@fred2338 There are a fair amount of folks on here that have had the Y90 procedure. Let's give them a little time to respond. Ok? I do recall others having a similar success story as yours. Congratulations!!!

1 Reaction@fred2338, I'm just catching up with your post today. Such great news to hear that transarterial radioembolization (TARE), also called Y-90 radioembolization, was a success for you.
For anyone considering this treatment, what is one thing you wish you had known?

1 Reaction@myhell I believe yes because they both use yttrium-90 beads. Here are two links for previous Y-90 discussions. Please take a look at them, and let me known if they are helpful. Thanks.
