Taking diazepam moderate 10 mg say every 2 weeks for anxiety

IV been taking diazepam since I was 16 now I'm 43 but never abused it a full pack of 28 tablets will last me over 6 months does anyone think this is bad or am I the only one who thinks this drug is an absolute miracle

Honestly I don’t think that you need to worry about this at all, you’re taking 28 pills every six months, that’s amazing. If you were taking them every day then I would say that you’re dependent on them but for some reason you can obviously take them randomly or when you need a little help with stress, I wish that I could do the same but alas I take it daily for many years, best wishes.

@paul1289 I have been taking lorazepam for over 20 years, I take them 3 times daily a total of 1.5 mg., I’m almost 75 years old this month, they are the only medication I use and a inhaler for COPD, I am very dependent on them and although I have tried numerous other medications i.e. antidepressants they just make me feel sick, lorazepam works very well for my anxiety and I have no desire to stop using them, I wish that I never started taking them but at this point in my life I have accepted that I can’t be without them anymore.
