What sort of training do you do while diagnosed with SVT or AF? What medication do you take that doesn’t affect your training intensity? Please share your experience.

I would do anything except exercise of any description in the top 15% of output. If it's weights, drop your max reps and max weight by 15%. If your heart acts up inside of four hours, that may be it....emphasis on 'may... The reason is that there is a bias called 'post hoc, ergo propter hoc', or translated from Latin, 'After this, so (it must be) because of this,' Not so fast. It might be something unrelated ,or maybe what you did actually DELAYED its onset by a few hours. How would you argue persuasively either way?
The problem, as you can see, is that life is complicated. You might go out for a blast of a run, 20 km, and do it in 1 hr and five minutes. No problem if you're that capable. But then you scarfed down scrambled eggs and bacon and chased it with coffee. How would you know it isn't the fat or the caffeine....and nothing to do with the blazing fast run? All three preceded the run.
So, what all newly diagnosed AF patients must do, alas, and it's very much a solitary and often confounding journey, is to find out for themselves what sets them off. The list of known triggers, as they are called by patients across the internet and by cardiologists and electrophysiologists, is almost endless. Too much calcium (ate a tub of ice cream), caffeine (drank a small expresso), too large of a meal (stomach distension or gas or indigestion), too much sugar, not enough magnesium or potassium in the diet....not getting enough sleep, hiked too long, bounced a cheque, the credit card company wants a payment, you lose an important argument, you crash your car, you get robbed, you have diabetes, your mitral valve is prolapsed (who knew!),...etc. It could even be one or more carefully and conscientiously prescribed medications or supplements.
So, directly answering you, it depends on you and your tolerance to exercise of any kind and intensity. I found that metoprolol nubbed my mojo and I simply couldn't run at my former speed. And speed was not my problem. Severe obstructive sleep apnea was. I found that out on the very last diagnostic ordered by my cardiologist. Again.....................who knew!?
