Surgery Scheduled

My husband has his surgery scheduled for August 19th at Mayo… aortic valve and aortic root replacement… open heart surgery.

He has a new oncologist who supported him discontinuing his prostate cancer treatment mid April ( five months early).

Our hope is that he will regain some energy and strength in the next few months now that he is off treatment.

We found out that his Mayo surgeon uses rigid plates with screws to close the Breast bone after surgery… so hopefully he will heal faster and with less pain .

His blood pressure is very stable now , and still no cardiac symptoms…
