Suprahilar left lung mass

Waiting on consult with Mayo Clinic Thoracic Surgical Dept. CT and PET scan showed a mass in left lung anterior adjacent to my pulmonary artery. Too close for a biopsy in my hometown. Small nodule in right lower lung.
Anyone else have a mass in this area and if so…..how did they treat it?

How are things going now? Did you end up having the biopsy or surgery?

Hi there!!
Yes, we are just starting this adventure. He has his first pulmonary appointment Feb 1st. His CT showed a mass not much bigger than a dime, so I suspect he will need a biopsy. Thank you for reaching out☺️

Yes, we are just starting this adventure. He has his first pulmonary appointment Feb 1st. His CT showed a mass not much bigger than a dime, so I suspect he will need a biopsy. Thank you for reaching out☺️

The appointment went well, doc wants to check for a fungal infection and do a PET scan. We were able to get in next week and F/U with doc to go over results. Everything is coming along quite quickly considering we are in a fairly small town, so that’s nice at least. Thanks for checking in😍
