Study found what a lot of us already knew

I read this article this morning. When I was slammed down in 2022 with Long COVID, and I knew that is what it was although the doctors scoffed, my blood work showed that EBV had been reactivated. I knew that there had to be a link between that and why I felt so terrible...for 4 years now. Anyway, I am attaching a link to the article, although the study itself can be found in the jounral "Nature."

Thanks diverdown1. What caught my attention was the link to the mysterious anelloviruses and one in particular that can use the mRNA to damage human immunity. Normally found in animals, TTV which is one of these anelloes. TTV has the ability to act as an auxiliary factor in the initiation and development of disease. It has also been stated that anellos can interact with a person’s immune system and be used as a marker for the host’s immune system status in people suffering from immunodeficiency diseases or undergoing organ transplantation. TTV is able to encode microRNAs (miRNAs) that are involved in viral evasion of the host immune response and regulation of viral reactivation and pathogenicity. Wait, Wait, WHAT? Yes, TTV is encoded to mRNA! How many mRNA Covid vaccines were given to humans in not just one but supplemental vaccines with a 'live' Covid virus? AND what do Long Covid sufferers have in common? Most, when properly tested have a hypo charged and nearly destroyed immunity system. https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s12866-024-03187-7

I have three friends and family members get Shingles shortly after of having COVID in 2020. We knew then there was a correlation and yet 6 years later research verifies! So much money spent on Covid research and the breakthrough in 2026 is on things many of us already knew but no break through on treatments! I am very down today on the Medical community’s ability to treatment Long Covid and help us.
Sorry to be so negative this morning, but I woke in severe pain and brain fog, my Covid clinic just keeps adjusting LDN after 6 months without LDN providing any relief and not offering other options. I’ve seen >50 doctors over the last 5 years since first the Moderna Covid Vaccine made me severely sick, then a 2024 covid infection. Stanford has been helpful in providing understanding of my condition, how ME/CFS and neuro-inflammation work, but not of relieving this debilitating pain I’m living 24x7 with. Its frustrating.

@onpainsufferer I would like to encourage you... perhaps taking a copy of these studies to your PCP or specialists will open their minds to the possible blood tests for your immune system. Full panel for T-Cells lead to my healing. PLUS have them do labs looking for TTVs.

TTV cells: refer to cells infected with Torque Teno Virus (TTV), which is a virus that can encode its own genetic material within the host's cells. This means that the virus can replicate and persist in the host, potentially influencing immune responses and health outcomes. People who have undergone transplants are tested for the presence of TTV cells. Most humans are infected with Torque Teno Virus (TTV), with studies showing prevalence rates exceeding 90% in various populations. However, the presence of TTV does not typically indicate disease, as it is considered a non-pathogenic virus but TTV has the unique ability to 'encode' with mRNA. I'm hopeful that this fact about the mRNA encoding will have scientists hard at work finding answers to Long Covid because the majority of vaccines for Covid used mRNA technology to create the vaccines. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0198885925001193

@onpainsufferer I hear you! I am looking for a job and I am scared as I do not know how I will be able to function if it is not a remote position.
