Still no taste or smell?

Posted by denan210 @denan210, Feb 4 11:08pm

I don't know if anyone has asked this but I had covid 4years ago and to this day still can not taste or smell anything and the things that I can taste or smell are not the same as before covid. Is anyone else still having these problems?

I’ve had 7 Stellate Ganglion Block injections. They have given me more of a salty, sweet or bitter taste on my tongue when I eat. I also noticed that it has taken away my PTSD or anxiety, if you will. I am not jittery any longer, which is great! Not sure if I will be having any more, but it did help somewhat. Good luck!

Thank you, I didn’t know it could address so many things! Ppl never talk about the anxiety, depression and insomnia with this stupid virus

Haha, no worries! I thought maybe I had missed a new treatment for no taste or smell! Much luck to you! Well, you made me laugh and that’s a plus!

Haha, glad I made you laugh! In a roundabout way it was related, my sinuses got really messed up from my initial Covid which was 2023… ended up having surgery hit that.
